GILLETTE, Wyo. – State funding applications for community art programs and projects are now being accepted by the Wyoming Arts Council.

As of March 1, the application period for qualified organizations to secure up to $15,000 in grant funding support is currently open and remains so until April 14, per WAC.

The funding is made available through WAC’s Community Support Grant program, a competitive program for operating and/or project support for organizations that provide services to their community through support, according to a March 1 WAC release.

Through the program, grant funding is available for services and programs that take place between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, WAC says, adding that an organization is eligible to receive up to $10,000 in operating and/or project support and up to $5,000 in arts learning support.

Those looking to apply can find the application on the WAC website, which is also where they can find a complete list of requirements and additional guidelines.
