GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County residents can learn more about the Gillette College Foundation’s Office of Economic Transformation at an upcoming town hall.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 in the Pronghorn Center Flex Space, 3807 College Drive, Gillette.
Office representatives Rusty Bell and Kendra Anderson will provide updates and hear feedback, and Gov. Mark Gordon will make an appearance, a flier said.
Bell said Jan. 30 that he and Anderson will discuss the office’s direction and U.S. coal markets’ present and future. They will also have open discussions of the diversification of the economy.
Gillette College Foundation Executive Director Heidi Gross said in September that she hopes the Office of Transformation will encourage new companies, especially those in carbon-based technologies, to begin operating in Campbell County.
