GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County Board of Commissioners will have a special meeting at 2 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Commission Chambers to discuss the Campbell County School District Transportation Facility, capital long-term planning and county properties long-term planning, the county announced this afternoon.

The Commission Chambers are 500 S. Gillette Ave., Gillette.

According to the County’s Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget Preparation Message, departments will focus on the maintenance of facilities and completion of approved construction projects.

“Our consistent goal is to maintain and improve the conditions of our county facilities,” the message said.

Construction priorities include the partial remodeling of the courthouse to create a fourth courtroom for an incoming Sixth Judicial District Court Judge and remodeling the county annex facility for attorney office space.

The board will review county-owned properties and determine what land to develop, lease, sell or buy.
