GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Thursday, Jan. 19:
- At 1:13 a.m. to Airport Road for an emergency medical response.
- At 4:16 a.m. to the 6700 block of Ichabod Avenue for a report of a structure fire. No fire was found by responding units, but a furnace motor had malfunctioned and overheated, which was the source of the smoke in the residence. Twelve firefighters and one chief responded to the scene.
- At 12:33 p.m. to East 7th Street for an emergency medical response.
- At 2:54 p.m. to Bertha Avenue for an emergency medical response.
- At 4:39 p.m. to the intersection of Lakeway and 4-J for a two-vehicle collision. Firefighters stabilized the vehicles and assisted with patient care.
- At 7:45 p.m. to the intersection of Highway 59 and Country Club Road for a two-vehicle collision. Firefighters stabilized the vehicles and assisted with patient care.
- At 10:10 p.m. to North Brooks Avenue for an emergency medical response.
- At 11:03 p.m. to the 3400 block of Hoback Avenue for a fire alarm activation due to a malfunctioning smoke detector.
Year to date the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 142 requests for service.
