GILLETTE, Wyo. — Gillette residents can expect to wake up to some fresh snow on Monday, as the National Weather Service is predicting wintry weather after midnight tonight. After that, more snow is expected in scattered snow showers throughout the coming days.
Snow is expected to begin around 2 a.m., the NWS reports. According to forecasts, roughly an inch of accumulation is possible. That snow will continue into Monday morning, with more snow before 11 a.m. It will then pick back up again Monday night.
Precipitation is expected to remain at bay on Tuesday and Wednesday, but then return on Thursday, when the NWS forecasts more snow throughout the day.
Throughout the week, high temperatures are expected to remain fairly consistent in the low 30s, with conditions dropping down into the teens at night. Moderate winds should make the days feel colder, however, with winds between 10-15 mph in the coming days.
