Nominations for education support personnel award due March 17

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County School District will begin accepting nominations on Jan. 16 for the Educational Support Personnel of the Year 2023 award.

Anyone can nominate a staff member. The nominee must have continuously worked for the district for at least one year and continue to work for the district for the 2023-2024 school year.

Custodians, secretaries, assistants, bus drivers, translators and others are considered education support personnel. Teachers are eligible for a different award.

The winner receives public recognition for their innovative, effective and compassionate student and customer-centered focus. The individual also receives a $1,000 award.

Nominators must provide details of how the staff member makes a positive impact, shows initiative, contributes to the district’s success or demonstrates innovation through operations, original ideas and progressive thinking.

Nominations are due to Michelle Brandon, the administrative assistant to the associate superintendent for instructional support, by 4:30 p.m. March 17.
