Bruce Lang

Bruce Lang: December 7, 1954—December 15, 2022

Bruce Lang, 68, of Pine Haven, Wyoming, died doing what he did best, taking care of everyone else, on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at Keyhole Reservoir. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at Keyhole Country Club, Pine Haven, Wyoming, with Chaplain Charlie Gulley and Pastor Gordon Harper officiating, and military honors provided by American Legion post 42 and the Wyoming Fire Marshals. Interment will be in Pine Haven Cemetery.

Bruce Wayne Lang was born on Dec. 7, 1954, in Brooking, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen Edward Lang and Mary Ann Lang. He grew up on a farm near Elkton, South Dakota. He completed school in Elkton and joined the army in the fall of 1973. After completing a tour of duty mainly in Germany in 1976 he went to Votech in Watertown, South Dakota. He then married the love of his life, Linda Carlson, in 1979.

They moved to Pine Haven, Wyoming, after a few short years. He worked as a mechanic for Cordero Rojo coal mine for 30 years before retiring. He was a Wyoming EMT for over 30 years. Bruce was also on Pine Haven’s first Town Counsel when Pine Haven was first incorporated.

Bruce has one daughter who is married to Andy Marushack. He has two sisters, Sandy Shultz and Barbara Lang.

Spending time with his wife, elk hunting, fishing, horseback riding, along with snowmobiling were his passions. Bruce’s favorite memories were teaching his daughter to hunt, fishing, and spending time with his wife. Bruce very much enjoyed the mountains and the peacefulness they gave. His wife is still his greatest passion.

Justian Wayne Browning

Justian Wayne Browning: May 21, 1981—December 10, 2022

A gathering of family and friends for Justian Browning, 41, of Gillette will be from 11 a.m.—1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Walker Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming.

Justian died Dec. 10 from a motor vehicle accident in Campbell County.

Justian was born on May 21, 1981 in Kalispell, Montana, to Roy and Casey (Faulk) White. He began school in Hungry Horse, Montana. He later moved to Wyoming where he finished his formal education. Upon the completion of his school he went to work. Started with Exploration Inc. and he eventually began working for Walker Inspection around 2010 where he was employed at the time of his death.

He was a hardworking man who worked his butt off to give his family everything. Justian married Nicole Christianson and they were together for more than 20 years. My king Justian seen a young mom struggling with a 1-month-old and has raised him as his own. Together they made their home together in Gillette raising their children here.

Justian enjoyed all things mechanical. He was handy around the house and could fix about anything. He was a rock to his family, he was a goofball, his kids could not think of a bad memory of time spent with him.

Justian will be sorely missed by his wife Nicole; children: Michael Christianson, Justian Browning and Neveah Browning; granddaughter, Ariella Browning all of Gillette.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
