Pronghorn Center at Gillette College
The public is invited to interact with University of Wyoming President Ed Seidel and learn more about UW’s collaborations in Campbell County.
A brief program will feature President Seidel and Gillette College President Janell Oberlander, who will discuss collaborative work to prepare students for the modern economy and boost entrepreneurism and the state’s economy.
Fred McLaughlin, director of the Center for Economic Geology Research in UW’s School of Energy Resources, will discuss efforts in Campbell County regarding coal conversion, carbon capture and sequestration, and related technologies.
Also, hear from UW students from Gillette: Campbell County High School graduate Mackenzie Bannister, and Thunder Basin High School graduates Dani Jones and Nayeli Robles, who is also a Gillette College graduate.
Free appetizers will also be served, and a cash bar will be available.
