GILLETTE, Wyo. – Rollo Williams and Timothy Hallinan will join the Campbell County School District board after receiving the most votes in the 2022 General Election, according to the unofficial election results reported by the Campbell County Elections Office.
Dr. Joseph Lawrence, an incumbent candidate, will keep his seat. Williams and Hallinan will take the seats of trustees Linda Bricker and David Foreman.
Lawrence said he will not change his approach in his work on the school board in this upcoming term.
“I think that I have been reelected to continue to help provide the best that can be done for the k-12 kids and fight for our teachers,” he said.
He said he believes the board has done a great job over the past four years.
“We will continue that work,” he said.
Based on unofficial results, Williams received 2,774 votes, including 1,277 on Election Day; Hallinan received 2,087 votes, including 1,037 on Election Day; and Lawrence received 2,022 votes, including 864 on Election Day.
The election results still need to be certified before they become official.
Lawrence told County 17 earlier in the evening that new board members would be inducted in December and that School Board Treasurer Dr. Ken Clouston, who beat Hallinan in the 2022 primary election for the District 32 State Representative seat, will continue on the board until his Wyoming legislature term begins. At that time, there will be a special election.
