Marlene Jean Wolfe: November 18, 1954 – October 19, 2022
Marlene Jean Wolfe, age 67, passed away October 20, 2022 at her home. She was born November 18, 1954 in Gillette, Wyoming to Sam and Betty Wolfe. She got her GED and later went on to college and got a degree in history. She was a substitute teacher for a short time and then became a bus driver in Upton, Wyoming. She was also a bartender in Upton and Rozet. For the last ten years she worked for SGS as a Field Supervisor. She loved the outdoors and loved working with horses.
She is survived by her children: Trinity (Ian) Lyman, Shane Wells, Jana Wells and Dana Albert; her brother, John (Candy) Wolfe and sister, Colleen Fisher. She also had eight grandchildren: Dakoda, Austen, Haylee, Kaylee, L.J., Shane, Trinity, and Cassie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Betty Wolfe, her nephew, Shaun Wolfe and her niece, Sara Wolfe.
A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held at Gillette Memorial Chapel (210 W. 5th St, Gillette, 82716) on Friday, October 28, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. A gathering of fellowship and remembrance will follow at Ruff’s Rozet Bar (14072 State Hwy 51, Rozet, 82727) beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials and condolences may be sent in Marlene’s name in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
