GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Public Library System and Public Library Board will hold their quarterly joint meeting at 4 p.m. Monday in the Campbell County Courthouse’s Commissioners’ Chambers, at 500 S. Gillette Ave.
The Campbell County Public Library Board’s agenda said discussion items include the repairs following the Sept. 19 water line break, code of conduct and new board member training. There will also be an action item regarding a position vacancy justification notice for a District Court clerk.
Deputy District Court Clerk Gayle Cooper is retiring Oct. 2 from employment with Campbell County after more than 15 years of service, Campbell County Community & Government Relations Coordinator Leslie Perkins told County 17 Sept. 22.
The Campbell County Public Library System’s agenda said that new business items include a public statement from the Library Board of Trustees, the formation of a special committee, library flooding, library mission statement review, child policy and purchasing books. Campbell County Public Library System Director Terri Lesley’s report will include announcements regarding workshops and meetings, monthly use of the library, the Library Foundation and the Friends of the Library, the agenda said.
A Wyoming Library Association presentation is also scheduled for the meeting, the county board’s agenda said.
The county’s Public Library Board next meeting after Monday’s is at 4 p.m. Dec. 19. The Campbell County Public Library System’s currently scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. Oct. 24 in Campbell County Public Library’s Wyoming Room, but the location of that meeting is an item on Monday’s agenda.
