Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (9/22/2022)

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Thursday, Sept. 22:

  • At 12:20 a.m. to East 9th Street for a motor vehicle accident with no injuries. Firefighters applied floor dry to leaking fluids on scene.
  • At 5:03 a.m. to Foothills Boulevard for an emergency medical response. Firefighters provided patient care on scene.
  • At 8:53 a.m. to the alley of the 600 block of S Kendrick Avenue for a natural gas line that was damaged by heavy equipment working in the area. CCFD and Black Hills Energy (BHE) worked together to clamp the 2” steel main line. The flow of gas was stopped at 9:23 a.m. Occupied structures downwind were monitored with atmospheric monitors and 1 was evacuated out of precaution. The scene was turned over to BHE.
  • At 10:53 p.m. to Country Club Road for an emergency medical response. Firefighters provided patient care on scene.

Year to date the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 1,993 requests for service.
