GILLETTE, Wyo. — Three young adults were transported to Campbell County Hospital after the vehicle they were in rolled off Echeta Road around 8:15 p.m. Sept. 17, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Derek Lang said at about 8:45 p.m.
Campbell County deputies, emergency medical services personnel and firefighters responded to the spot where a red Ford F350 left the road.
Lang said the vehicle was traveling east and deputies had not yet determined how fast the vehicle was traveling. He said it’s difficult to speed on Echeta Road because of its curves.
“Right there’s what happens when you get going too fast,” he said, looking at the truck in the field.
He said drivers should be cautious so they can avoid hazards, like deer.
“Quit using Echeta Road as your racetrack. … For the younger kids, don’t be showing off,” Lang said.
He said deputies don’t believe intoxication was involved in the incident.
