GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County law enforcement are searching for a Wright man who’s been reported missing since Saturday, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Martin Spencer told County 17 at 8:15 p.m.
William Keith Rippy’s sister, Emily Rippy told County 17 at 6:42 p.m. today that a friend of her brother told her that William’s been missing since Sunday.
“My brother suffers from mental health issues and we know he is off his meds,” she said.
Emily said she, their parents and William’s niece and nephew live in Tennessee. William also has a daughter in Tennessee.
She said William’s roommate and employer haven’t heard from him, and he left all of his things behind.
Spencer said he received the report during a CCSO briefing earlier today after the department got a call around 12:30 p.m. He said Rippy’s phone has turned off and nobody’s seen or heard from him. Rippy’s information has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database, Spencer said.
Spencer said the man was last seen at Fishing Lake, which is at 900 Edwards St, Gillette.
Rippy is 47 years old. He is 6’1″ tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
