Owen Michael Honey: August 22, 2022 – August 22, 2022
Owen passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2022 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family as they prepared to celebrate his arrival to the world. A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Owen M. Honey will held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Father Bryce Lungren officiating; interment Upton Cemetery.

Gloria Jean Franzen: March 28, 1941 – August 25, 2022
Funeral service for Gloria Franzen will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Gillette Memorial Chapel; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.
Gloria Andren Franzen was born March 28,1941 to Frank and Lucille Andreen in Thermopolis, WY. Gloria passed away of natural causes on August 25, 2022.
She was raised around Thermopolis, she had eight brothers and four sisters. She graduated from Meeteetse WY High School in 1959 where she was Homecoming Queen. She also went to college in Powell, WY. Gloria married the love of her life, Earl Franzen on January 12, 1961. They moved to Gillette in 1962. They had four children, Becky, Wayne, Barb and Donnie.
She lived most of her adult life as housewife and mother. Gloria loved gardening and she always had the most beautiful flower garden. She was also on a bowling league. She lived her life for her husband, children and grandchildren.
Her husband passed away June 6, 2005.
She lived in Cottonwood apartment for four years where she became known as one of the Golden Girls. She has lived at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center for the past four years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Andreen; father, Frank Andreen; brothers, Harold, Harry , Bill , Everette, Oscar and Marvin Andreen; and sister, Dorothy Andreen Williams.
Gloria is survived by her children Becky Franzen Hoover (Rob Hoover), of Albuquerque, NM; Wayne Franzen, Barb Franzen Brooks (Larry Brooks) and Donnie Franzen (JeanieRae) of Gillette, WY; brothers, Kenny Andreen (Kathy) of Edgerton, WY and Martin Andreen of Thermopolis, WY; sisters, Christina Andreen Kruse of Chinook, MT; Margaret Andreen Lauer of Cheyenne, WY; Elaine “Charlie” Andreen Gearhart (Bob) of Gillette, WY; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is loved by all of her family and many friends and will be greatly missed.
