Obituaries: Brown, Henle, Wolfe

Michial D. Brown: Dec. 6, 1965—July 24, 2022

Funeral services for Michial Brown, 56, of Gillette, Wyoming, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gordon Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at Gillette Memorial Chapel.

Michial DeWayne Brown was born on Dec. 6, 1965, the son of Don and Betty Brown and Kathy Izzard in Gillette. Known to his friends and family as Mike, he was raised and educated in Gillette. Mike attended Mrs. Reimer’s private kindergarten class, followed by elementary school and then attending and graduating from Campbell County High School. After graduation Mike attended Casper College for a time. He returned to Gillette and joined the workforce, working in the oilfield, driving truck for several years and later going to work at local coal mines until the time of his death.

Mike enjoyed playing his guitar and golfing, but his favorite pastime was his motorcycle.

Mike is survived by his mother: Betty and her special friend, Randy Hayden; Kathy and Dewy Izzard; brothers: Paul Brown and Billy Brown; grandmother, Vera Brown; aunt, Joyce (Albert) Bell; uncle, Rex (Kathy) Brown; niece, Rayne Brown; nephews: Darin Brown and Tucker Brown as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Brown Jr.; grandfather, Donald Brown Sr. and cousins Joe Brown and Gary Bell.

Dennis Gene Michael Henle

Dennis Gene Michael Henle: Oct. 1, 1941—July 22, 2022

Funeral service for Dennis Henle will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at Gillette Memorial Chapel; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services starting at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at Gillette Memorial Chapel.

Betty J. Wolfe: Nov. 2, 1932—July 26, 2022

Betty J. Wolfe, 89, passed away at her home surrounded by family on July 25, 2022. Betty was born Nov. 2, 1932, in Gillette, Wyoming, to Marian and Effie Flori.

She married Sam Wolfe on Sept. 16, 1948. They had three children. Betty worked as a bus driver for Rozet School for many years. She also helped her sister-in-law at the Rozet Store when she needed her. Betty always loved spending time with her family. She liked camping, fishing, boating and family get togethers at her home.

Betty is survived by her children: John (Candy) Wolfe, Colleen Fisher and Marlene Wolfe, all of Rozet, WY; seven grandchildren, 13 great–grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Wolfe; parents, Marion and Effie Flori; grandchildren: Shawn and Sara Wolfe; two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at Rozet Cemetery, Rozet, Wyoming. There will be a reception and time of fellowship at Rozet Bar following the service.
