Wyoming State Fair announces Morgan Evans as music headliner

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The headlining act of the State Fair’s Grandstand Friday Night Concert will be Morgan Evans, according to a release. The concert will take place on Friday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m.

Evans is an Australian country singer and songwriter, best known for his singles “Day Drunk,” “Young Again” and “Dance with Me.” He won the ARIA award for Best Country Album with his second studio album.

This is the 110th annual Wyoming State Fair. The fairgrounds, located in Douglas, will host several other entertainment acts during the fair, including Pirate’s Parrot Show, Washboard Willy and Balloon man. The other usual events will also take place, like the demolition derby, PRCA rodeos, parade and art exhibitions.
