GILLETTE, Wyo.— The Fourth of July is fast approaching and if you’re wondering what to do, there’s no shortage of Independence Day-themed events happening across Gillette this coming Monday!
Whether you choose to start your patriotic holiday with a lavish breakfast at the annual Pancake Feed put on by the Campbell County Fire Department or end it with a bang with the annual fireworks show out at the Cam-Plex; there’s sure to be something red, white, and blue to be excited about this Fourth of July.
Here’s the list of events associated with this year’s Campbell County Fourth of July Celebration dubbed “Fortitude for Freedom”:
6 a.m. – 9 a.m. Firefighter Pancake Feed (106 Rohan Avenue)
7:15 a.m. Gillette Physical Therapy 4-mile Run/Walk (Bicentennial Soccer Fields)
(Registration ends at 6:45 a.m.)
9 a.m. Registration for activities at Bicentennial Park
10 a.m. Parade (on W. 2nd Street/ Hwy 14-16)
12- 2 p.m. KOOL Live DJ (Bicentennial Park)
12 p.m. Bicentennial activities (Free hotdog feed, mud volleyball, pie-eating contest, strongman/woman competition, kid games, Jump House Mania)
10 p.m. Fireworks Display (Cam-Plex)
