Campbell County seeks deputy county treasurer job applications by July 1

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County Treasurer’s Office is hiring a deputy county treasurer and will take applications through 5 p.m. July 1.

The new employee for the Deputy County Treasurer 1 position would perform filing, answering phones, cash recording and balancing, typing and data entry, searching records and accepting payment for motor vehicle license, property taxes and other fees, the job posting said.

Experience requested is one year of related experience in an office environment. A high school education or equivalent with general office training is also desired. The position also requires knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, excellent communication skills, maintaining productive working relationships and the ability to work well with the public in a fast-paced government environment with frequent interruptions.

Essential functions include requiring physical condition necessary for physical activity of lifting an average of 40 pounds.
