Campbell County School Board to hold special meeting June 14

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County School District Board of Trustees on June 14 will have a special meeting regarding back-to-school procedures before its regular meeting.

The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in the Rocky Point Room at the Educational Services Center, 1000 W. Eighth Street in Gillette.

Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent & Board of Trustees Tracy Peterson said updates will likely include leadership changes and when school will resume in the fall. The meeting will last until about 5:45 p.m., she said.

The regular board meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the board room at the Education Services Center. The agenda is available here.

The items scheduled for discussion and approval at the regular board meeting include the following:

  • Membership with the Board of Cooperative Higher Education Services
  • Approval of Girls Wrestling at the high school level
  • 2022-2023 capital projects, with total estimated costs of $4.7 million
  • Changes to job descriptions/pay ranges
