Kory Lee Kubik: April 26, 1992-May 7, 2022
Celebration of Life for Kory Kubik, 30, of Gillette, Wyoming, will be at 1 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at Gillette Memorial Chapel, Pastor Gordon Harper officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Gillette Memorial Chapel.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Graceland Cemetery, Oacoma, South Dakota.
Kory Lee Kubik, formally of Miller, South Dakota, who resided in Gillette since 2015, tragically passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on May 7, 2022.
Kory was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on April 26, 1992 to Sandra (Champagne) Kubik and Corey Aalbers.
He attended school in Miller, South Dakota and graduated in Lead, South Dakota.
For the last several years, Kory worked as a specialty hand, casing and relief operator for Wyoming Casing Services where he was employed at the time of his death.
He loved spending time with his niece and nephew and enjoyed playing X-box in his free time. Kory was very passionate about his trucks and loved fixing them up. Kory also was very passionate about family gatherings and hanging out with all of his family and friends, as family is everything to him.
Kory is survived by his parents: Corey Aalbers of Miller and Sandy Kubik of Gillette; siblings: Kim (Crystal) Kubik of Parkersburg, WV; Cheyanne (Juan) Aalbers, Heidi Aalbers all of Gillette; paternal grandmother, Linda Aalbers of Miller; great-grandmother, Lucile Reck; niece, Cammy; nephew, Dakota; many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his dog Luna.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Clarence Champagne and Florine (Sazue) Champagne and paternal grandfather, James Aalbers.
