GILLETTE, Wyo. — It’s every pranksters favorite holiday of the year, April Fools’ Day. April 1 is the day that everyone questions everything, plays pranks on each others, or gets practical jokes played on them.
This fun day can be filled with fun practical jokes, and I can’t even begin to go down the list of fun jokes to play on friends, family, and even coworkers. However, here are some good dos and don’ts for these pranks to remember when you are in Wyoming.
Alright let’s get straight to business, you want your prank or joke to be memorable in a good way. So what are some things that your buddy will laugh about later with you?
Do: Make sure you know who you are playing the joke on
In Wyoming it is easy feel like you know everyone, but this is one day that you should really know them. If you are going to play a prank, make sure you know the person well enough to know how they might react.
Don’t: Cause harm
It can be tempting to pull some elaborate prank, but make sure you are keeping it safe for yourself and everyone involved.
Do: Keep it simple
Whatever prank you are pulling, you will want to make sure that it’s not too elaborate. It makes it harder to pull off and more likely they will see through it.
Don’t: Do anything that will get you in trouble
Maybe this goes with keeping everyone safe, but do make sure that whatever you are planning doesn’t end with you losing a relationship, job, or going to jail.
