GILLETTE, Wyo.—The Svalina Road bridge that crosses I-90 near Rozet will be closed for three months starting next week for repairs, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced Tuesday.

The closure will allow contractors to conduct a series of repairs to the bridge including replacing the approach slabs, a portion of the deck, curbs, the rail, and asphalt paving on either side of the bridge, per WYDOT.

Traffic control signs notifying residents traveling in the area will be placed beginning the week of March 21, WYDOT says, adding that residents wishing to use the bridge to access Highway 51 will need to use a detour to Adon Road to continue doing so.

The project is expected to last 90 days, per WYDOT.
