It’s still months away until the opening pitch of the American Legion baseball season, but the time has come for Gillette to assemble its teams and gear up for another successful summer.

Signups for all players in grades 7-12 (Born 2003-2009) will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5 and Thursday, Jan. 6 from 5-7 p.m. at the Riders Clubhouse located at 909 Longmont. The registration is for all four teams – Riders, Rustlers, Prep and JR Riders and players only need to attend one signup date.

The time is now to prepare as off-season workouts begin Monday, Jan. 10.

This is an open enrollment for all players, new and returning. The Riders American Legion program has fielded 57 players who have gone on to play at the college level since 2006.

For those new to the area or the program, The Gillette Riders have won seven state championships at AA, B and C levels. Players develop skills in one of the top programs in the region with top-notch facilities which will host the 2022 Northwest Regionals.

New players are always welcomed and encouraged for all ages 13 through 19.
