Two days of fun at 19th annual New Year’s Eve Buck & Ball

It’s time to bring an eventful 2021 to an end and the Cam-Plex has the perfect way to bid farewell to one year and welcome in the new one. Two days of rodeo fun beginning Dec. 30 with the fifth annual TCRI Measurements and Powder River Construction Bucking Horse Futurity and Burch Rodeo Stock and wrapping up the year Dec. 31 with the 19th Annual Kissack Water & Oil New Year’s Eve Buck & Ball.
To sum it up – the two days of fun will offer guests a futurity, stock show, rodeo, concernt, meet and greet with pro cowboys, and food and drinks while bidding goodbye to 2021.

The events are expected to sell out, so get your advance tickets at CBH Co-Op in Gillette, Ruff’s Bar in Rozet or online at newyearsevebuckandball.com.

The fun begins Thursday

TCRI Measurements and Powder River Construction invite you to the annual NYE Buck & Ball Bucking Horse Futurity and Burch Rodeo Stock Sale at the Cam-Plex Wyoming Center, Equality and Frontier halls. This event will showcase an invitational set of bucking horses from top stock contractors around the country.
As many as 20 elite contractors will be invited to bring Bucking Horse Teams, two selected 4-5 year-old bucking horses and exceptional saddle bronc riders. The winners of the event will be given the opportunity to compete at NYE Buck & Ball the following night on new Year’s Eve.
Just get your numbers when you arrive for the fun. The bucking stock sale will start at 3 p.m. It will showcase for 40 years of bucking bulls and horse genetics including Lunatic Fringe, Friendly Fire and Burch’s Tooke and more. For more information contact Anna at (405) 401-5404.

Have a little fun and follow your favorite cowboy, his team of three and your favorite bucking horses and bulls. The Calcutta consists of selling individual cowboys in each event, a team of three. (1 cowboy from each event will consist of a team.) and followed by taking the chance of what horse the short round cowboy will draw.

Thursday, Dec. 30 schedule
10 a.m. – Doors and concessions open
12 p.m. – Bucking Horse Futurity
3 p.m. – Burch Rodeo Bucking Stock Sale
6 p.m. – Social and live music by Kellen Smith
7 p.m. – Dinner
8 p.m. – NYE Calcutta
9 p.m. – Live music by Tris Munsick

New Year’s Eve – rodeo style

The 19th Annual Kissack Water & Oil’s New Year’s Eve Buck & Ball along with CINCH will be bringing you non-stop entertainment from great PRCA bucking horses and bulls testing the top 20 PRCA cowboys athletic ability in the world.
Burch Rodeo has them stacked and are proud to have their saddle bronc horse of the year, Lunatic from Hell, Professional Lunatic, Pip Squeak, Twisted Cinches, and more top NFR stock contractors will add stellar bucking stock to the three events.
The match is set up in a long round and a short round format. Each rider will test his agility in the initial long round.
Results of the long round determine which four riders in each event will go on to compete in the short round, with more than $60,000 in prize money up for grabs throughout the night.
After that last horse bucks, the party continues with a live concert with Chancey Williams & The Younger Brother Band in Central Pavilion to ring in the New Year. One ticket gets you all the action-packed fun
