Meet Maverick

Maverick is a handsome goof, according to shelter staffers via Petfinder, who say this boxer mix is a friendly, affectionate, playful, curious, brave, and athletic pooch who loves kisses.

“Maverick is a young guy that absolutely loves people,” a staffer said, adding that Maverick is super active and would make a wonderful adventure partner.

He can be a bit picky about his dog friends, though, and prefers female dogs over males, the staffer said.

Maverick also needs a bit of basic obedience training including house-training.

“This (sweet) guy came to us as a stray and is now ready for his forever family to take him home,” the staffer said.
