Meet Freya

Freya is a young female Pit Bull Terrier mix, a shelter staffer said via Petfinder, adding this total cutie is friendly, affectionate, playful, curious, funny, athletic, and loves kisses!

Freya is a very energetic girl as she is still only a pup, the staffer said. “She just turned a year old and is still working on her manners and basic obedience skills.”

Freya was surrendered to the shelter for being “just too much” for her owners, becoming quite jumpy and mouthy during play.

“She can be a bit reactive towards certain dogs, so we definitely require a meet-and-greet before adoption if you have other dogs in the home,” the staffer said.

Freya will need an active home that is willing to provide lots of exercise and enrichment.

“Although she is quite energetic, Freya is still such a sweetheart,” she added, noting Freya absolutely loves to be around people.

Her vaccinations are up-to-date, and she’s more than ready for her forever home.
