Carter’s Critters: Bat

Bat has some special needs and is ready for his forever home.

Meet Bat

Bat was born with severely twisted and unusable hind legs, so he scoots around using just his front legs, according to his Petfinder profile.

“He is quite fast,” said a Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue staffer, adding that Bat has an amazing personality. “He is the sweetest little guy and loves belly rubs, snuggles, and kisses.”

Bat cannot urinate or defecate on his own, so he will need an experienced and nurturing pet owner to express his bladder three to four times a day and keep him on a regular feeding schedule to regulate his weight and keep his pooping on schedule.
