The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) and AARP Wyoming are teaming up for a virtual town hall at 5 p.m. Monday, March 15, to ask state experts questions about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
Wyoming began administering COVID-19 vaccines in December with individual vaccines being administered soon after. As of Feb. 4, more than 66,000 first doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been received in Wyoming along with 32,200 second doses, per WDH.
Panelists include Stephanie Pyle, public health division administrator, and Alexia Harrist, state public health officer and state epidemiologist, which will be moderated by Bob Beck of Wyoming Public Radio.
Callers can phone in to discuss the process Wyoming is following for the distribution of the. COVID-19 vaccines and ask questions about vaccine recommendations, safety, and effectiveness.
