Campbell County Public Health (CCPH) is teaming up with Campbell County Health (CCH) to offer the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine through the CCH Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) clinics beginning Thursday.
“We are pleased that our citizens now have three vaccine options to choose from, as well as multiple locations where they can receive the vaccine,” said Jane Glaser, CCPH executive director, in a joint press release Monday. “The sooner we can vaccinate as many people as possible, the sooner we can defeat the virus and resume more normal lifestyles.”
Vaccine clinics are scheduled:
- Monday from 2 – 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Thursday from 8 a.m. – Noon and 1 – 5 p.m.
The Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccinations are being administered by appointment only, per the release. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (307) 688-6050 Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. When the appointment schedule is full for the week, callers will be asked to call again for the following week.
Those who receive an appointment will be directed to a specific clinic location based on the date and time of the scheduled appointment.
The vaccination is free, the release stated, and was approved for Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 18 years and older.
