Meet Blaze
Rambunctious, loving, and, perhaps, a little attention seeking are all words that could be used to describe this gorgeous brindle and white Pitbull Terrier mix.
Blaze is an eight-year-old, spayed female that has been waiting for her forever home at the City of Gillette/Campbell County Animal Shelter for quite some time.
She loves to be around people and although she is eight, she really doesn’t act like it. Blaze has quite a bit of energy, but will always calm down and snuggle up after play time.
Her favorite toys are ones with squeakers.
It is essential that her future owners have a secure yard and previous dog ownership experience, according to shelter staff, as Blaze can be reactive towards other dogs and cats. However, Blaze is known to do extremly well with children.
She does have some skin allergies, so she is currently on a special diet and will be starting an oral medication soon to help combat the itchiness.
At the end of the day, Blaze will need a special home with a dedicated, loving family.
She would make a great companion.
