Meet Ash

It’s pretty obvious how Ash got his name!

This smoky, grey kitty is patiently waiting at the City of Gillette Animal Shelter to be adopted into his forever home.

Ash originally came to the shelter as a stray, and sadly, his owners never came forward to find him.

After several weeks of being cared for by shelter staff and volunteers, he was finally adopted!

Unfortunately, Ash was returned to the shelter shortly after as he wasn’t adjusting well to his new home given his sensitive stomach.

Ash may require some medical care and a special diet to help combat his stomach issues, but being only a year old, he is willing and ready to overcome his battles.

If other pets are in the home, Ash will make a great companion! He seems to enjoy the company of other cats and even dogs.

Not only that, but Ash absolutely adores humans! He loves to play with toys and has quite the little purring motor during cuddle time.
