Extremely windy conditions across the state Wednesday have prompted the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) to issue a series of high-wind warnings as well as interstate closures for light-weight, high-profile vehicles.

WYDOT has issued an extreme blow-over advisory for portions of 1-25 between Cheyenne and Buffalo as well as closing it to light-weight high-profile vehicles due to northwest winds between 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 75 mph, per the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Similar warnings have been issued by WYDOT on 1-80 between Elk Mountain and Cheyenne for Wednesday.
