Museum homesteading kiddy craft bags available Saturday

The history of Campbell County is steeped in homesteading dating back to before the arrival of the railroad in the 1890s. In honor of this, the Campbell County Rockpile Museum has rounded up all fun supplies to fill homesteading-themed activity bags geared at sharing the rich history of the region with children ages five to 12.

Kids can create old-fashioned toys and artwork and participate in related STEM challenges, said Museum Educator Penny Schroder.

Fun-filled activity bags can be picked up at the museum on Highway 14-16 starting Saturday, Jan. 16.
