Octane Garage and Record Supply NAPA will once again be teaming up to celebrate Veterans Day with a free oil change and lunch for all veterans and first responders.

It’s a cause that’s near and dear to their hearts, according to Octane Garage owner Doug Leitzke and NAPA owner Kevin Record, who have family and friends in the military and serving on the front lines.

“It’s been a volatile year,” Leitzke said, “and it’s important to embrace the people who have helped keep us safe and healthy.”

This is the third year that the two companies have teamed up to put on the annual event, which continues to grow each year.

The oil change and safety inspection will be offered at on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday, Nov. 11, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Octane Garage at 2 Wheel Drive in Gillette, with an estimated service time of approximately 30 minutes.

Vouchers will be offered for those veterans and first responders who cannot make it on Wednesday. They just need to call or message Octane to receive one.

A free chili lunch will be available at the garage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents can also nominate their favorite veteran or first responder for a drawing for two guns. Nominations can be submitted by calling (307) 670-0406 or on Octane Garage’s Facebook page. Those nominated do not have to be present at the time of drawing.
