A man is dead following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 90, west of Sundance, according to a press release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) received Friday morning.
Per the press release, WHP troopers were notified of a crash involving a motorcycle at 6:08 p.m. Thursday, August 6.
A 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was headed eastbound on I-90 when it exited the right side of the roadway, colliding with a delineator post before overturning further off the road, per the release.
The driver has been identified as Aaron Hall, a 58-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona. Hall was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but succumbed to his injuries at the Crook County Hospital.
An investigation to identify contributing factors continues.
This is the 65th fatality on Wyoming’s roadways in 2020, compared to 100 in 2019 at this same date.
