Ursel “Ulla” Willrodt, 56, of Moorcroft, WY, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home. Ursel was born January 1964 in Duisburg, Germany to Gunther and Helga Blech. After school, she started an apprenticeship as a butcher and salesperson and finished up with a master’s degree. She alsoworked as a cab driver, nurse in a senior citizen home, and as a coordinator for a cleaning company. The last year she was involved in house cleaning to help many of their friends.

Ulla was married to Andreas Willrodt. They came to Gillette, WY, in 2002 due to the job opportunity in coal mining at Eagle Butte and Belle Ayr mines. She was a proud American citizen after her Naturalization Process. Her passion was dogs; she had two. She loved and enjoyed their company, friendship, and loyalty all her life.

Another passion and hobby were motorcycle riding with family and friends; she also loved her home and gardening. Ulla’s favorite time of year Christmas time. She loved to decorate the house on the inside and outside. She loved baking cookies and cooking. She enjoyed all the time to have friends and family in the house.

Ulla is survived by her husband; children, Sabrina Adamitz, Patrick Willrodt, Timo Willrodt, and Tobias Willrodt, all of Germany; and five grandchildren ranging in age from 22 years old to one year old all from Germany. She is also survived by four sister and one brother in Germany.

A visitation for Ulla will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, at Walker Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Ulla’s name to benefit your local animal shelter.
