Nancy Helen Beyer, 68, passed away too soon and unexpectedly on July 16, 2020. Nancy was born on September 28, 1951 to Otto and Rose (Moreno) Bremer in Great Falls, Montana. She attended school at Power Public School System, Montana and graduated in 1969. She attended one year of secretary college in Great Falls, Montana.
Nancy met Allison Beyer in Great Falls and they married on July 5, 1970. The family resided in Conrad and Lewiston, Montana where Al worked as a television repair man. They moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1979 where Al worked at the power plant and Nancy stayed home to care for their daughters. Nancy later worked at the Color Center for a few years then went to work at 1st National Bank as a teller in 1984. She worked for 35 years at 1st National Bank and, with dedication and hard work, Nancy moved up to Assistant Vice President until she retired on December 31, 2019. Nancy was a dedicated and loyal employee and treasured by many in the community.
Nancy contributed over 600 hours at Campbell County Memorial Hospital as a volunteer in the Gift Shop. She also was a treasurer for Salvation Army and volunteered as a bell ringer during each Christmas holiday. Nancy was also active in the American Cancer Society by donating quilts and her time for many years. She enjoyed collecting angels, antique shopping and acquiring pink depression glass. Nancy was an avid quilter, made stain glass collectibles and loved crafting.
With all Nancy’s generous time she donated to friends and work, her true passion was her family. She was a generous, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Nancy supported her husband and two girls through everything they accomplished. She devoted her life to her family and would do anything for them. She was most happy when her grandchildren were with her.
Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Wendy Beyer and Brenda (James) Gross; grandson, Justin Beyer; granddaughter, Logan Gross; sister, Charlotte Spaulding; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda (Delbert) Berghoefor, Patricia (Gary) Janssen and Mark (Debbie) Beyer; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allison Eugene Beyer; her parents and two brothers, Robert and Carl Bremer.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 27, 2020, at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery Shelter with Erik Bergquist officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband, Al.
