Former Soundworks business owner, 42-year-old William “Bill” Dohse, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stealing over $20,000 from First National Bank and eight different customers after promising to complete audio/visual technical work during 2018 and 2019 and failing to follow through on his commitments.
Dohse has been charged with five counts of misdemeanor theft for crimes under $1,000, and four counts of felony theft for crimes over $1,000. Each misdemeanor count is punishable by imprisonment of up to six months, a fine of $750, or both. Each felony count is punishable by imprisonment up to ten years, a fine of $10,000, or both.
Dohse is currently incarcerated at the Campbell County Detention Center, and a bond hearing has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today, Friday, May 22.
