COVID-19 Update graphic

By Monday morning, the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) reported 87 coronavirus cases across 15 counties within the state, including the first cases in Converse and Sublette counties.

Currently, there are seven counties with cases of coronavirus, per WDH. Of those, 87 cases have been reported, with 20 patients having since recovered, including the Gillette woman and only case thus far in Campbell County.

To be considered recovered, a patient must go 72 hours without a fever and receive official clearance by the WDH.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported 122,653 cases in the country with over 2,100 deaths as of Sunday night as President Trump announced over the weekend that current measures will be in place through April 30.

Thus far, Gov. Gordon has not issued a stay-at-home nor shelter-in-place order like other governors have in hard-hit states like New York, Louisiana and Illinois among others. Instead, he’s asked all non-essential Wyomingites to please stay at home in an effort to reduce the virus’ spread.
