Flu-related Visiting Restrictions in Place at CCMH Maternal Unit, Legacy
A recent influx of influenza, or flu, in the community has promoted Campbell County Heath to impose visiting restrictions at both its Maternal Child Unit and The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center.
No more than two visitors at a time, along with a spouse or significant other, will be permitted to visit a mother in the Maternal Child Unit, according to a CCH press release. Children 12 and under are not permitted to visit either the maternal unit or The Legacy at this time until the restrictions have been lifted.
Siblings 12 and under may be permitted to visit the maternal care unit if they are screened by a nurse prior to admittance.
Visitors who feel ill are also encouraged not to visit either unit, the release states.
For more information on current restrictions, see the CCH webpage or contact Kim Lindeman, BSN, RN, CCH infection preventionist, at (307) 688-1526.
