Recycle Your Christmas Tree for Free
The City of Gillette, Gillette College, and Campbell County Master Gardeners are again sponsoring the city’s annual Christmas tree drop off site at the Gillette College Technical Center, 3251 S. 4J Rd, where you can ditch your natural Christmas tree today, Thursday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Jan. 31.
Please remove all decorations and lights before dropping off your tree and keep in mind that the site is only for the disposal of real trees, no artificial trees or other trash are being accepted.
Trees will be chipped by the city’s forestry division for use in the Gillette’s community gardens.
