The Gurley overpass will be closed Nov. 7 – 8 for a warranty inspection of the 2018 deck rehabilitation project to repair spalling concrete on the bridge surface.
“The warranty inspection is our final chance to make sure that the work that was done is holding up,” Geno Palazzari, communication manager for the City of Gillette, said. He added that if anything is wrong, it is up to the contractor to fix it. Then, after that, the City will be responsible for ongoing repairs.
The last annual maintenance and inspection on the bridge was completed in July.
