Wrestling Camp with UW’s Coach Free for Campbell County Kids

The University of Wyoming (UW) and Touch of Gold Wrestling are hosting a free wrestling camp for Campbell County school-aged children this Friday and Saturday at Thunder Basin High School with UW Head Wrestling Coach Mark Branch.

“It’s a great opportunity for kids,” said John Alt, Touch of Gold wrestling president. “He [Branch] is here to help build wrestling and get people excited.”

Branch has served as UW’s head wresting coach for 11 seasons. In the 2019 UW season, the team had seven wrestlers qualify for the NCAA Championships. He previously served as the associate head wrestling coach for Oklahoma State University.

Prior to coaching, Branch was four-time NCAA finalist as a student-athlete.
