Imagine living your entire life confined to a small area. That kind of life is fine as punishment for a criminal, but not for a dog who never did anything to warrant a life sentence.
That’s exactly what happened to this week’s Red Hills Pet of the Week, Winston.
For more than 11 years, Winston was tied to an outside Kennel. At 14, that’s a lifetime.
It took a little time for this spaniel to accept what many would call a dog’s typical home life. But Carolyn Sears said he now loves being inside. Winston has been acclimating to the dog life at Rest Easy my Friend Canine Rescue an Sanctuary.
After a little rest and relaxation, Winston is ready to live out the rest of his days as he should with a family to love.
Winston is great with dogs, kids, and even cats. He’s neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccines.
