Foamy 5K walk/run
Help the Gillette College kick off their 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend! Join us after the race for the giant foamy water-slide!
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Gillette College Tech Center
Cost: $5 for students, $20 for non-students, includes t-shirt
Friday, Sept. 6
Gillette College Soccer Field Ribbon Cutting
Join Gillette College for the dedication of their new soccer field, prior to the Pronghorns’ first game on the pitch against Central Wyoming Community College. Women’s game begins at 1:30 p.m., Men’s game is at 4 p.m.
When: 1 p.m.

Coffee at the Rockpile Museum
Join the Rockpile Museum Association President for coffee, pastries, and an update on the latest programs, exhibits, and developments at the museum. This is your opportunity to learn more about how the RMA supports the museum and how you can get involved.

Saturday, Sept 7
Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the walk staring at 11:30 a.m., and BBQ to follow at noon.

Paws and Claws Fest
This is an informational event highlighting pet services in Gillette.
When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: City of Gillette Animal Shelter
Fun On The Go has a new giant inflatable movie screen and want to show it off by providing a FREE showing to all members and immediate family. The original TOY STORY will be showing in the the Club’s gymnasium and Fun on the Go will also be providing popcorn for attendees. Bring bean bags, chairs, etc. for seating.
When: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Cost: FREE for members
Pick your apples and crab-apples and bring them down to crush into apple cider. Just bring jars and kids to crank, the press will be provided. Bakers will have fresh homemade cinnamon and caramel rolls.

3rd Annual Matthew Sorenson Memorial Disc Golf Tournament
When: 8 a.m.
Where: Fishing Lake Edward’s Shelter (aka Dalbey Park)
Black & Yellow Theatre: Voices of the Powder River Basin
Join the Rockpile Museum as they interact with subject matter, events, and people that have shaped the Powder River Basin from prehistory to modern day.

Elks Lodge Soccer Goal Shoot
For ages 4-15, parents must be present to register. First place winners will be offered the chance to participate in the State competition in Casper
