Ranch Rodeo rides into Cam-Plex
One of the 99th Annual Campbell County Fair’s most popular events will be the Ranch Rodeo, where cowboys and cowgirls from across the five-state region will compete in events similar to everyday ranch tasks, this Thursday night at Cam-Plex Morningside Park.
You’ll see stray gathering, wild cow milking, team doctoring, and team Tailoring, and between rounds enjoy local youths competing in kid-friendly events like mutton bustin, mini broncs, and mini barebacks.
Champions win Gist buckles, reserve champions receive jackets. Each team’s $400 entry fee goes toward the winners’ purse, with an additional $2,500 added.
Don’t miss out on the great stock, great prizes, great people, and the great community behind this annual event happening Thursday night at Cam-Plex.
