Both drivers involved in a crash yesterday afternoon were transported to Campbell County Health for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not available.
According to Lt. Brent Wasson, a 93-year-old female driving a Lincoln failed to yield to southbound traffic at the intersection of Butler Spaeth and Garner Lake roads when she hit a 19-year-old female driving a Jeep, causing it to roll over.
The 19-year-old told police she saw the other vehicle stop and begin to slowly move forward before the collision.
The Lincoln sustained front end damage, while the Jeep was totaled.
The 93-year-old was cited for failure to yield.
