Mass of Christian Burial for Abram Gonzales will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wright, Wyoming. Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, with a vigil at 7 p.m.
Abram Gonzales, 82, passed away at his home in Wright, Wyoming, July 10, 2019.
He was born in Naples, Texas, March 16, 1937. Abe enjoyed traveling, dancing, fishing, hunting, baseball, and football. He was very involved in a local men’s baseball team in his younger years. Being a long-time Dallas Cowboy fan, he seldom missed a game.
Abe was employed as an over-the-road truck driver, which he enjoyed for 37 years. Blending two families in 1983 with his marriage to Antonia (Tonie), he found his life-long partner. Abe always enjoyed having family and friends around to share stories and a laugh.
Moving to Wright after retiring from driving truck in 2002, he stayed busy by driving for Worthen Van, then managing Double T Carwash for eight years.
Abe is survived by his wife of 39 years, Antonia, his seven children, 28 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren.
