A 30-year-old man was transported to Campbell County Health following an ATV crash last night south of Union Chapel Road.
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Steer Roping Avenue and Bull Riding after a 51-year-old male called to report his vehicle alarm sounding around 10:45 p.m., according to Under Sheriff Quentin Reynolds.
When the male looked outside, he saw an ATV speed away from the area.
Deputies responded to the area and discovered the ATV had crashed, but found it unoccupied. They later contacted a 30-year-old man who admitted driving the ATV. A 30-year-old male passenger was transported to the ER with a head injury and road rash. The extent of the man’s injuries is unknown.
The driver was cited for reckless driving and no insurance.
